Piano models can be super confusing when you’re on the search. In Yamaha models, U1 tells you it’s a 121cm high professional upright. The letter after indicates the series, and can give you a ballpark age range. The A series were made in the 1980s and have remained very popular as they were so well-made at the time and have aged beautifully.
